The original Girder and Panel sets were inspired by the construction of a
przewody grzejne office building in Cincinnati, Ohio, the original home of Kenner Toys. Kenner Toys president Mr. Albert Steiner was intrigued by the girder steel beam and girder structures buildings. This then led to the development of girder and panel construction sets.
Many adults who had Girder and Panel sets back in the 1960's and 1970's will remember the famous building and bridge and turnpike sets. There is probably an entire generation of Architects, Contractors and Engineers who were inspired into their chosen field by playi
